The Jittery Goat

Think of The Jittery Goat as a little coffee shop where simple folks meet. The coffee is either black or with cream, and/or sugar. Decaf comes from the same spout as regular. It's not ordered with an exhaustive recitation of jargon only a barista understands. It's where the coffee isn't paid for with a plastic card; it's the loose change in your pocket and if you ain't got enough somebody will pitch in or you can catch it the next time. You'll find good short stories here. We don't put up with the type of language that will make your grandma leave the room, yet we aren't so prudish that it will put your grandpa asleep either. Don't be afraid to join in; feel free to comment on the stories. We try to keep it short as in "short" story. That means we won't take up more time than it takes for a couple of sips from your coffee. In case you haven't noticed, on the other side of the page are a list of novels. Just click on them and that will take you to Amazon. There you will find either hard copy or ebook editions. They are reasonably priced. For about the price of a latte or two you can buy a good book. The Pilgrim's Return

This is the seventh book about Rich Larsen. He completes his trip sailing around the world. His journey takes him to The Canaries where he is pursued by an old foe. Next he sails to Funchal where his friend, Elbert, has some unfinished business. He spends a year on Belle Ile en mer off the coast of France. It is there he finds the love he has always longed for. Rich completes his odyssey around the world and estrangement from his parents by returning home. What he finds is not what he expects.
